Adam Sobiczewski był przykładem fizyka teoretyka bardzo ceniacego kontakt z doswiadczeniem. W licznych rozmowach z Peterem Armbrusterem, Sigurdem Hoffmanem i Gottfriedem Münzenbergiem dyskutował możliwości i ograniczenia na wytwarzanie najcięższych pierwiastków. Cenił tez kontakty z grupa doświadczalna prof. Yurija Oganessiana z Dubnej, gdzie był częstym gościem. Lubił pracować wieczorami, do późna w nocy.
Abstract
Adam Sobiczewski was an example of a theoretical physicist who highly valued contact with experience. In numerous conversations with Peter Armbruster, Sigurd Hoffman and Gottfried Münzenberg, he discussed the possibilities and limitations of producing the heaviest elements. He also valued contacts with the experimental group of Prof. Yuri Oganessian from Dubna, where he was a frequent guest. He liked to work in the evenings, until late at night.
