Wyobraźmy sobie strumień światła padający na szybę. Każda szyba przepuszcza tylko część światła, a resztę odbija albo pochłania. Wystarczy spojrzeć na własne odbicie w oknie. To, ile dokładnie światła się odbija, a ile przechodzi przez szybę zależy od szczegółów materiału, z którego wykonane jest szkło. Dla uproszczenia wyobraźmy sobie, ze mamy szkło, które odbija i przepuszcza dokładnie po połowie padającego światła.
Abstract
Let's imagine a stream of light falling on the glass. Each glass allows only part of the light to pass through and reflects or absorbs the rest. Just look at your own reflection in the window. Exactly how much light is reflected and how much passes through the glass depends on the details of the material from which the glass is made. For simplicity, let's imagine that we have glass that reflects and transmits exactly half of the incident light.
