Abstrakt
W ostatnich miesiącach, wskutek splotu szeregu okoliczności, w tym intensyfikacji dyskusji na temat zmian klimatu, prezentacji planów polskiego rządu dotyczących budowy elektrowni jądrowych oraz kampanii wyborczej, w której tematyka klimatyczna była obecna w dużo większym stopniu niż w latach poprzednich, a także emisji popularnego serialu dotyczącego katastrofy czarnobylskiej, energetyka jądrowa stała się w Polsce tematem ożywionej debaty publicznej, zarówno w mediach tradycyjnych, jak i społecznościowych. Niestety przy tej okazji w obiegu publicznym pojawił się cały szereg mitów dotyczących tej branży i technologii jądrowych w ogóle. Niniejszy artykuł przedstawia wybrane z nich, które na podstawie doświadczenia autora, pojawiają się w dyskusjach szczególnie często, wraz z informacjami na temat stanu faktycznego.
Abstract
In recent months, as a result of a series of circumstances, including the intensification of the discussion on climate change, the presentation of the Polish government's plans for the construction of nuclear power plants and the election campaign in which climate issues were present to a much greater extent than in previous years, as well as the broadcast of the popular series regarding the Chernobyl disaster, nuclear energy has become the topic of a lively public debate in Poland, both in traditional and social media. Unfortunately, on this occasion, a number of myths regarding this industry and nuclear technologies in general appeared in public circulation. This article presents selected of them which, based on the author's experience, appear particularly often in discussions, along with information about the actual state of affairs.
